A 14-year-old girl had her boyfriend’s car impounded after she was caught behind the wheel in Morwell yesterday afternoon., Victoria Police say
Latrobe Highway Patrol members pulled over the pair on Haywood Street about 4pm and found the unlicensed teenager driving.
When questioned as to why her P-plater passenger boyfriend wasn’t driving, she informed police he had smoked drugs and was "woozy".
The teenager is expected to be charged on summons with traffic-related offences.
Her 20-year-old boyfriend will have to fork out $1400 to get his Toyota Camry out of the impound yard in 30 days.
