Today, Thursday May 16, 60 women gathered at the Goulburn Soldiers Club for the 'Building Confidence and Capability for Women in Business' Workshop.
Regional Development Australia Southern NSW and ACT (RDASNA) and Goulburn Mulwaree Council were thrilled to bring Lisa LaMaitre to Goulburn for this special event. The workshop aimed to support and empower local women in business, fostering the emergence of new groups within the community.
Lisa LaMaitre, the founder of Canberra Wise Women, a seasoned podcaster, media writer, lecturer, and business advisor with over 30 years of experience across various industries, shared her expertise with attendees. As a Business Advisor with Enterprise Plus, Lisa collaborates with businesses of all sizes in the region. Enterprise Plus generously donated Lisa's time to ensure the event was offered free of charge, showcasing their commitment to advancing education and support services for women in business.
A special thank you goes to Suzie Presswell, Project Manager at RDASNA, for facilitating the event and providing the necessary resources. Goulburn Mulwaree Council contributed by providing a light lunch, demonstrating their ongoing support for initiatives that empower women in business.
