$80K, Drugs Seized in Melbourne's Southeast Drug Bust

A man is facing serious drugs charges following an investigation into the alleged distribution of several illicit substances across Melbourne's southeast.

The Caulfield Divisional Response Unit executed a search warrant at a unit on Wrexham Road, Windsor, just before 7am yesterday.

During the search, police allegedly located and seized MDMA, methylamphetamine and cocaine, as well as 2.5L of 1,4-Butanediol and more than $83,000 in cash.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He was charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, trafficking a commercial quantity of 1,4-Butanediol, trafficking cocaine and MDMA, and possessing proceeds of crime.

He was remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 18 June 2024.
