Aggravated Burglary Suspects Arrested in Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police have arrested two youths after an aggravated burglary at a business in Tennant Creek sometime on Tuesday night.

Around 7.20am yesterday morning, police received a report of an unlawful entry of a business in Patterson Street, with property and cash stolen from the premises.

Officers from Tennant Creek were able to identify the youths through CCTV and located the youths a short time later at a local residence.

Both youths, aged 14 and 16, were in possession of the stolen items.

The youths have since been charged with multiple property offences.

Police continue to urge the public to report all instances of crime and antisocial behaviour to police on 131 444 or in an emergency to call Triple Zero.
