A man has been charged after police seized crystal meth, cannabis, firearms parts and cash from a home in Lavington yesterday, NSW Police say.
Officers attached to Albury Local Area Command established Strike Force Mooli in October last year to investigate the on-going supply of methylamphetamine in the region.
Following inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a home in Parkland Crescent, Lavington, shortly after 2pm today, where they seized drugs and more than $7000 cash.
They arrested a 30-year-old man in the front yard and took him to Albury Police Station.
The man has now been charged with 11 offences:
• Supply a prohibited drug (indictable quantity (not cannabis) – seven counts
• Supply prohibited drugs on a on-going basis – one count
• Supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity – two counts
• Deal with the property proceeds of crime – one count.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Albury Local Court tomorrow.
