Armed robbery of pizza delivery driver in Girraween

Police are appealing for information after a pizza delivery driver was robbed in western Sydney last night, NSW Police say.

Just before 8pm today, a 21-year-old male pizza driver was delivering pizza to a home on Mia Mia Street, Girraween.

He was confronted by a group of five people wearing red, white and black face masks.

One man held a sharp weapon to his neck while threatening him.

The group stole five pizzas, cash and drink from the delivery driver. They were last seen running into Civic Park, Pendle Hill.

Police attached to the Holroyd Local Area Command are investigating the robbery and urge anyone with information to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
