Arrests made following Greenacres robbery , SA

Two people have been arrested following an aggravated robbery at Greenacres this morning, according to SA Police.

Police were called to a Deli on Manoora Street just before 12pm, Sunday 22 October, after a man armed with an axe threatened staff, before stealing cash and cigarettes. The man and a second suspect ran from the scene before getting in an old white sedan and driving away.

Just before 3pm this afternoon, enquiries lead police from Holden Hill to a home in Kilburn where they arrested a man and woman. The pair are expected to be charged with aggravated robbery and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A car believed to have been driven by the suspects was located at the address and has been seized.
