Police are investigating following a serious assault that occurred in Agnes Waters early this morning, November 26.
Shortly before 12.30am, police were called to a licensed venue along Round Hill Road following reports two men had become involved in an altercation after being ejected.
Upon arrival, a 41-year-old Deepwater man had sustained serious facial injuries and was transported to Bundaberg Hospital.
A second man had left the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
Investigations are underway. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
