Detectives are investigating the assault of a bus driver at Mt Gravatt yesterday evening, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at about 9pm at a bus stop on Klump Road, the bus driver has removed two intoxicated men from the bus due to their conduct.
The men then assaulted the driver before a passenger has intervened.
Both men fled the scene on foot.
The male driver was transported to a Brisbane hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No other persons were injured.
Investigations are continuing.
