CCTV images released as police probe seats removed from train in Katoomba

Police have released CCTV images of three people who may be able to assist with inquiries after seats were removed and piled up in train carriages in the Blue Mountains last week, NSW Police say.

The seats were removed from trains travelling between Lithgow and Katoomba Railway stations between 10.20pm and 11.20pm on Tuesday 14 February 2017.

The incidents were reported to police from the Police Transport Command and an investigation commenced.

Following investigations, police have released CCTV images of the trio, who may be able to assist with inquiries.

Police are urging anyone who knows the identity of the three depicted in the images, or anyone with information, to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
