A 19 year old Burnie man will be summonsed to appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court to answer a number of charges arising from a fatal two car crash which occurred on the Bass Highway at the Deep Creek Road intersection at Wynyard on 21 June 2016, Tasmania Police say.
The crash resulted in the deaths of a 16 year old girl and her two month old son.
The man will face two charges of Negligent Driving Causing Death, Being an Unaccompanied Learner Driver, Disobey Give Way Sign, Drive an Un-roadworthy Vehicle and Failing to Display L Plates.
The man will appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court at a later date.
