Child approach in Kiama

Police are investigating a child approach incident in Kiama, NSW Police say.

About 12.15pm today two ten-year-old boys were riding scooters along Gwinganna Avenue, Kiama, when a vehicle stopped on the road next to them.

The driver had a conversation with the children which caused them concern and they fled the scene.

The incident was reported to police.

The driver has been described as having olive skin, aged in his late 50s or early 60s, with a completely bald head.

The vehicle is described as a charcoal coloured Subaru station wagon with black and white number plates.

Anyone with information should contact Lake Illawarra police or Crime Stoppers.
