Homicide Squad Detectives have charged a 35-year-old man with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm as the result of an investigation into the death of a 45-year-old man on 26 April 2024.
About 3.40am, the victim was found unresponsive at a service station on Bailey Boulevard. He was conveyed to hospital but died a short time later.
It will be alleged, the accused and the victim – who are known to each other – were involved in a physical altercation prior to the man's death.
Later that morning, about 4.50am the accused was arrested and subsequently charged with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm. He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 27 April 2024.
Inquiries remain ongoing.
