A driver has had her car impounded after being detected driving at twice the speed limit in Pakenham this morning, Victoria Police say.
The 49-year-old woman was allegedly driving at 120km/h in a 60km/h zone on Racecourse Road when police picked her up about 1am during a routine intercept.
She was also found to be unlicensed.
The Mercedes was impounded for 30 days, with the driver expected to be charged on summons with speeding, speed dangerous and unlicensed driving.
