Drink driver with no ID-ea

A man who is yet to be identified was allegedly caught drink driving in the Melbourne CBD last night, Victoria Police say.

The driver caught police attention on Victoria Street when he allegedly failed to stop at a number of red lights shortly before 7:30pm.

The car was intercepted at the Elizabeth Street intersection a short time later.

The man, who has no ID on him, is still in the process of being identified, but it is suspected he is unlicensed.

He allegedly returned an evidentiary breath test reading of 0.192 per cent.

The man is expected to be charged on summons.
