Raptor Squad officers have arrested eight outlaw motorcycle gang members as part of an investigation into a brawl at a hotel in Sydney's north-west earlier this month.
About 7pm on Friday 5 August 2022, police were called to a hotel on Mulgoa Road at Wallacia following reports of a large brawl.
Upon arrival, police noticed several vehicles in the vicinity had been damaged, however, all parties had dispersed.
Initial inquiries into the incident were conducted by officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command, before the matter was referred to Raptor Squad for further investigation.
Following extensive inquiries, Raptor Squad – assisted by South West and Central Metropolitan Operation Support Group (OSG) – executed nine search warrants at homes at Gregory Hills, Currans Hill, Oran Park, Cobbitty, Greenacre and Silverdale from 6am today (Wednesday 18 August 2022).
Five men – aged between 27 and 47 – were arrested during the operation, and after police located prohibited drugs during the search of the Currans Hill home a sixth man, aged 34, was also arrested.
All were taken to local police stations.
Additionally, two men – aged 34 and 35 – presented to Campbelltown Police Station about 10am today.
It's expected all eight men – who are members of OMCG – will be charged.
Inquiries continue.
