Evade Police Arrests in Baldivis, WA

Mandurah Detectives have charged three people after evade police incidents yesterday, Sunday 26 March 2017, in which two drivers attempted to evade police.

At approximately 10am, a white Holden Utility and a red Holden Commodore were seen in the Baldivis area and evade police incidents were started. After a short time, the red Holden was abandoned and three persons ran away from the vehicle. Two people were arrested nearby as a result of police Air wing, WA Police say.

The white Holden was located abandoned in Baldivis and the driver was unable to be located.

At approximately 11.30am, the third person from the red Holden was seen in the Mundijong area, where it will be alleged the man stole another vehicle and was involved in an evade police incident through many suburbs throughout the South Metropolitan District. Air wing tracked the vehicle until the vehicle was abandoned in Medina with the man jumping over fences and onto roofs of houses. Damage was caused to the roofs of the houses and the man was arrested by police.

A 23 year old man from Rockingham has been charged with:

•Steal Motor Vehicle and Drive Recklessly

•Steal Motor Vehicle

•Aggravated Burglary and Commit

•5 counts of Criminal Damage

•Being Armed to Cause Fear

•3 counts of Trespass

•Stealing

•2 Counts of Reckless Driving to Escape Pursuit by Police

•Assault to prevent Arrest

He is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today, Monday 27 March 2017.

A 20 year old man from Shoalwater has been charged with:

•2 counts of Steal Motor Vehicle

•2 counts of Trespass

•Burglary and Commit

•Criminal Damage

•Possess Drug Paraphernalia

He is due to appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday 21 April 2017

A 17 year old male from Hillman has been charged with:

•Burglary and Commit

•Criminal Damage

•Give False Details to Police

•2 counts of Trespass

He is due to appear in Perth Children’s Court today, Monday 27 March 2017.

Inquiries are continuing as to the identity of the occupant/s of the white Holden.
