The standard timeline for Development Applications (DA) has been extended as the nationwide skills shortage in Planning and Assessment staff impacts Council's current staffing and service levels.

Despite this challenge, Council remains committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely assessment and determination of DA's However, the shortage has unavoidably impacted our day-to-day operations.

In response, we are actively recruiting and exploring alternative options to expedite the processing of DA's.

Council apologises for the delays experienced as the Assessment Team work through applications at full capacity and kindly ask for your patience.

If you are a current applicant, the progress of your application can be monitored through the NSW Planning Portal.
