Fatal Crash at Orana Mid-Western Dirt Bike Course

A motor bike rider has died whilst riding on a dirt bike course in Central West NSW.

About 11am today (Sunday 30 July 2023), emergency services responded to a report of a motor bike rider colliding with a tree on a privately operated dirt bike track along Walkers Lane, Lue, approximately 30km east of Mudgee.

The rider – a 27-year-old man – had been riding with a friend along the track when he collided with a tree and died at the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services.

Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
