A report will be prepared for the Coroner following a fatal crash near Parkes, NSW Police say.
About 9.50pm yesterday, a 4WD was travelling northwest along Bogan Way, Bogan Gate, when it left the roadway and rolled several times.
During the incident the driver, a 29-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
A male passenger was also thrown from the vehicle. He was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Lachlan Local Area Command attended the scene and commenced investigations into the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
