A person has died following a single vehicle traffic crash in Bouldercombe this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Initial information suggests at 5.30pm, a vehicle was travelling west on the Burnett Highway when it crossed the road and crashed into a tree three kilometres west of the Bruce Highway intersection.
One of the passengers sustained severe injuries and was transported to Rockhampton Hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle sustained unknown injuries.
The two rear passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Rockhampton Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
