Fire infringement notice at Humpty Doo

Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service have issued an infringement notice to a Humpty Doo man.

NTFRS attended the man's residence and observed the man conducting an illegal burn pile today. The fire was extinguished and the man was issued a $632 fine plus $40 victims levy for lighting a fire on a fire ban day.

NTFRS remind members of the public that it is illegal for fires to be lit on a total fire ban day. If you see any suspicious fire activity, contact the police assistance line on 131 444.
