Four arrested from disturbance at Christie Downs, SA

South Coast Police have arrested a woman and three male teenagers following a disturbance at Christie Downs overnight, according to SA Police.

At 1.20am this morning, police patrols were called to Morton Road following a noise complaint.

On arrival, patrol officers were confronted by numerous people in the street causing a disturbance and several empty bottles were thrown in the direction of the patrols.

Extra police patrols including STAR group officers were called in to assist with the incident, with four people arrested for disorderly behaviour and affray.

There were no injuries and no damage to any police vehicles.

A 23-year-old woman from Christie Downs was arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour, while three males aged 15, 18 and 19-years-old from the southern suburbs were all charged with affray.

All four people have been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Court at a later date.
