Four charged after shooting, NSW

Police have charged three men and a woman after a man was located with a gunshot wound in Canley Vale yesterday afternoon, NSW Police say.

Just before 3.40pm today, emergency services were called to Torrens Street following reports a man was injured.

A 29-year-old was found with a gunshot wound.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers from Cabramatta Local Area Command established a number of crimes scenes in the Canley Vale area, which were forensically examined.

Following inquiries, three men and a woman were arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police Station.

A 48-year-old has been charged with discharge firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He has been refused bail and will appear before Liverpool Local Court tomorrow.

A 44-year-old man and a 45-year-old man have both been charged with conceal serious indictable offence.

They have both been given conditional bail and will appear in Liverpool Local Court on Monday 24 April 2017.

A 47-year-old woman was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug.

She was given conditional bail and will appear before Liverpool Local Court on Monday 24 April 2017.

It is believed the men are known to the victim.
