Geelong Botanic Gardens Sets Alternate Entry Amid Asphalt Works

Major asphalt works will commence in the Geelong Botanic Gardens starting the week of Monday 29 April that will require the temporary closure of the main gates and access via an alternative entrance.

The gardens will remain open during the works; however, the main entrance will be closed to public access for two to three days. Alternative access is via gate 5, located to the left of the main entry (heading North).

While the majority of the gardens will remain open, some pathways may be inaccessible for up to a week.

Signage will be in place to guide visitors to the alternative entrance and navigate around any restricted areas.

Additionally, traffic management measures will be implemented to ensure the safe movement of machinery and personnel within the gardens.

Geelong Botanic Gardens appreciates the patience and understanding of visitors during these necessary works.
