Two grant opportunities are now open for the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) to address service gaps, ensuring services are available when and where they are needed most.
CHSP Growth Funding 2024-25 Grant Opportunity (GO6887)
The CHSP Growth Funding 2024-25 Grant Opportunity (GO6887) will fund up to $100 million (excl GST) from 1 October 2024 to increase availability of domestic assistance, allied health and therapy, transport services and home maintenance in a range of identified Aged Care Planning Regions.
Current CHSP providers, as well as service providers across aged care, disability, health and veterans care are eligible to apply.
CHSP First Nations Growth Funding 2024-25 Grant Opportunity (GO6888)
The CHSP First Nations Growth Funding Grant Opportunity (GO6888) will invest $10 million (excl GST) to expand delivery of culturally safe CHSP services for First Nations older people.
Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations with experience across aged care, disability and primary health care are eligible to apply.
Successful providers will receive a grant agreement for 1 October 2024 to 30 June 2025 and will be included in the 2025-2027 CHSP funding extension process.
