Inquiries are underway into the cause of a fire which damaged a home in Burwood this morning, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Britannia Avenue at Burwood about 1.20am tomorrow, and found a townhouse alight.
An adjacent unit was evacuated as a precaution while fire fighters from Fire & Rescue NSW worked to control the blaze.
There was no one was home at the time the fire broke out and there have been no reports of injuries.
A crime scene has been preserved until the morning when it will be examined.
The cause of the fire is still to be determined.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
