Police are investigating a house fire in the state’s Hunter Region this morning, NSW Police say.
About 9.30am today, emergency services were called to Holwell Circuit, Raymond Terrace, where they found a house well alight.
Both NSW Fire and Rescue and NSW Rural Fire Service attended, containing and extinguishing the fire.
The blaze caused extensive damage to the interior of the house and adjoining garage.
A small amount of damage was also caused to the outside of a neighbouring property.
No injuries have been reported.
Police from Port Stephens Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
