Ill-Eagle Theft In Vermont South

Forest Hill police are investigating after a bald eagle statue was stolen in Vermont South on 6 April.

It is believed an unknown offender attended a Talarno Avenue address and stole the statue from the front yard sometime between 5.50am and 7.20am.

The bald eagle statue is fibreglass and approximately one meter tall with a yellow beak, and yellow feet on a grey base.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with CCTV.

An image of the eagle has been released in the hope someone knows of its current whereabouts.
