Imam Tahir Slams Perth Knife Attack, Urges Youth Education

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community

The Imam of Adelaide's largest mosque, the Mahmood Mosque, Imam Kamran Tahir, who previously served in Perth, was deeply saddened to learn about the recent knife attack there. He has condemned the attack in the strongest terms and expressed concern about youth radicalisation.

Imam Kamran Tahir said, "We are once again saddened to learn of another knife attack in which innocent civilians were harmed, this time in Perth. It should be made very clear that there is no justification for such acts in Islam. Education programs on true Islamic teachings are required to engage the youth."
