Inquiries into Bligh Park crash continue, NSW

Police are awaiting the results of blood tests following a crash in Bligh Park last night, NSW Police say.

Just after 10pm yesterday, officers attached to Hawkesbury Local Area Command were called to Golden Grove, following reports of a black Commodore utility driving dangerously.

Police arrived at the scene to find two parked vehicles had been hit by the utility.

A woman, who was sitting in one of the cars, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics; she did not require further treatment. The second vehicle hit was empty.

A 22-year-old man and Provisional licence-holder, who was driving the ute, returned a positive roadside breath test at the scene.

He was arrested but had to be taken to Nepean Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and underwent mandatory blood testing.

The man, from South Windsor, has since been released; however; charges are pending the outcome of the test results.

As inquiries into the incident continue, police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and contact Crime Stopers.
