A man has died following a crash on the state's south coast last night.
About 5.15pm (Saturday 8 June 2019), police were called to Gerroa Road, about 1km south of Beach Road, Berry, following reports of a crash.
Officers from South Coast Police District arrived on scene to locate a single cab utility which had struck a tree while travelling south.
The driver, a 25-year-old man, was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
The passenger, a 24-year-old man, was flown to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of a van, a 34-year-old man, which was in front of the ute before the crash, was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established, and inquiries by officers from South Coast Police District are continuing.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
