Police have arrested a man following a serious assault earlier today at Salisbury North, according to SA Police.
Just after 2.30pm on Saturday 28 May, police and paramedics were called to a house in Shorthorn Crescent after reports of a woman having been stabbed.
A 23-year-old man from Parafield Gardens, who is known to the victim, was arrested at the scene and has been taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with a hand injury.
The victim has been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound to the abdomen.
The accused is expected to be charged later.
