Man arrested over Mount Gambier robbery, SA

A man has been arrested over a service station robbery at Mount Gambier in July, according to SA Police.

Following an investigation into the robbery of a service station on Commercial Street on 9 July, detectives from Mount Gambier CIB yesterday arrested a 21-year-old man of no fixed address and charged him with aggravated robbery.

It will be alleged three men entered the service station, two armed with knives, and threatened the console operator before making off with cash and cigarettes.

The arrested man was refused police bail and will appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court today.
