A man has been charged after a hydroponic house was located in Dapto today, NSW Police say.
Police will allege the property on Marshall Street had been converted into a hydroponic house.
Just after 8m today, officers from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended the home and executed a search warrant.
A 50-year-old man was arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station.
Police searched the property and seized 410 cannabis plants, which have an estimated potential street value of $1.23m.
The man was charged with large commercial cultivation of a prohibited plant by indoor enhanced means, cultivate prohibited plant, and unauthorised use of electricity.
The man was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court tomorrow.
