Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a serious collision in the CBD last year, Victoria Police say.
A 28-year-old Elsternwick man was charged on Friday with negligently cause serious injury, dangerous driving causing serious injury and drug possession.
He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 7 February.
The incident occurred at the corner of La Trobe and William streets on Tuesday 16 February, 2016.
A pedestrian, a 49-year-old Aberfeldie man, received serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle about 5.25am.
