Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 27-year-old man following the death of an eight-week-old baby in Colac six years ago, Victoria Police say.
The incident allegedly occurred at Hearn Street on 15 October 2011.
The unconscious child was taken to hospital where he died on 23 October.
An Irrewarra man was arrested and charged today with murder, child homicide (unlawful and dangerous act) and child homicide (criminal negligence)
He will appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.
