A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Sydney’s northern beaches.
Shortly before 9.30pm today, police were called to Pittwater Road, Dee Why, after two men, who are known to each other, were involved in an altercation.
Officers arrived to find a man, aged in his 30s, suffering multiple stab wounds to his back. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, before being taken to Royal North Shore hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested at the scene. He was taken to Dee Why Police Station where he is currently assisting police with inquiries.
