Motorcyclist Dies In Ballarat East Collision

A motorcyclist has died following a collision in Ballarat East on 17 May.

Officers were told a van collided with a motorcycle at the intersection of Victoria and Queen streets about 6.05pm.

The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old Delacombe man, died at the scene.

The driver of the van, a 25-year-old Prahran man, was uninjured.

He was arrested at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
