NSW man charged, cannabis seized near Harden

A man has been charged with allegedly supplying prohibited drugs after a vehicle stop near Harden yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 2.30pm yesterday, officers attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped a car on the Burley Griffin Way, Murrumburrah, for the purposes of a random breath test.

Police spoke to the driver, a 30-year-old man, and his passenger, a 50-year-old man, before searching them and the car.

During the search, 845g of cannabis was allegedly located and seized.

Both men were arrested and taken to Cootamundra Police Station.

The 50-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Cootamundra Local Court on Monday 1 August 2016.

The 30-year-old man was released pending further inquiries.
