NSW man charged with drug supply

A man will appear in court today after police charged him with ongoing drug supply in Double Bay yesterday, NSW Police say.

Officers attached to Rose Bay Local Area Command have been investigating the ongoing supply of prohibited drugs, predominantly cocaine, in the Double Bay area since May this year.

Following inquiries, about 7.45pm yesterday, a 43-year-old man was arrested in Double Bay and taken to Waverley Police Station.

Police will allege the man had cocaine, cash and mobile phones on him, which were seized for forensic examination.

The man has been charged with ongoing supply of a prohibited drug (cocaine), supply prohibited drug, two counts of supply prohibited drug (greater than indictable quantity, cocaine) and possess prohibited drug.

He has been refused bail, and will appear at Waverley Local Court today.
