NSW police probe after five-vehicle crash near Blacktown

Police are investigating after a five-vehicle crash near Blacktown today, NSW Police say.

About 3pm (Friday 13 April 2018), emergency services were called to the M7 at Oakhurst, after reports three trucks and two cars had collided.

Police were told two trucks travelling southbound crashed before two utes travelling behind them collided while attempting to avoid the incident.

A third truck towing a trailer jack-knifed as a result of the crash.

The driver of one ute, and the driver and passenger of the second ute, were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead and Nepean hospitals.

The ages of the drivers are unknown at this stage.

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
