NSW Police Probe North Albury Suspicious Fire

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious fire in the State's South.

About 1am today (Thursday 2 May 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a fire at a transport yard on Batten Street, North Albury.

Fire and Rescue NSW battled the blaze for several hours, however the fire destroyed 6 prime movers, 2 B-double trailers and a single set trailer.

There were no reports of injuries, as a result of the fire.

A crime scene was established by officers attached to Murray River Police District.

An investigation into the circumstances of the fire is underway, which is believed to be suspicious.
