Pedestrians injured in crash at Port Gawler, SA

Two pedestrians have been injured in a crash at Port Gawler last night, according to SA Police.

At 6pm on Tuesday 29 November, a car was allegedly doing burnouts on the salt pans on Recreation Road, Port Gawler when it lost control and collided with two pedestrians.

The pedestrians had earlier been in the car, but got out due to the driver's behaviour.

The two pedestrians were airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. A male pedestrian suffered a broken arm. A female pedestrian suffered injuries to her head and chest.

The driver, a 17-year-old boy from Osborne, was taken by ambulance to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with head and minor neck injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle was not injured during the crash.

Major Crash investigators attended and photographed the scene. The crash is being investigated.
