Police appeal for information in Fortitude Valley, QLD

Detectives are appealing to members of the public for information in relation to an assault in Fortitude Valley on February 4, Queensland Police say.

At about 2am, two men have approached a woman outside a restaurant on Ann Street.  After a short conversation, one of the men has struck the woman in the face with his fist and threw pizza in her face.

The man was restrained by a witness, prior to both men fleeing the scene on foot along Ann Street.

Detectives are seeking assistance from the public in order to identify two men (pictured) who may be able to assist police with their inquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
