Police are responding to fatal collision in Loch 21 February

Bass Coast Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Loch this morning.

Emergency services were called reports that a Honda Civic and a Nissan Juke collided at the intersection of Victoria Parade and South Gippsland Highway about 8am.

The driver of the Honda Civic, a 64-year-old Warragul man, died at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan Juke, a 74-year-old Dumbalk woman, was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
