A 19-year-old cyclist died this afternoon following a collision with a car at Kanimbla (February 10).
Preliminary information indicates the 19-year-old Gordonvale man was travelling down Lake Morris Road at around 6.10pm when a collision occurred with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 19-year-old Edmonton woman, was not physically injured.
Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
