Police investigate theft of beer in Bacchus Marsh

Police are investigating a theft from a supermarket in Bacchus Marsh last month, Victoria Police say.

It is believed a male and female entered the Main Street store on Sunday 30 July.

They both went directly to the alcohol section where the female took a 12 pack of beer from the top shelf.

They both walked back to the entry point of the store and left without paying.

The female is described as aged in her early 20s, approximately 160cm tall and long dark coloured hair.

She was wearing a purple jumper, black leggings, white Nike runners and had a black backpack.

The male is aged in his 20s, approximately 175cm tall, medium build with blonde crew cut hair.

He was wearing a black t-shirt with something printed on the front, light grey track pants and dark coloured sneakers.

Police have released images of the male and female in the hope someone may recognise them.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
