Detectives have charged a man with murder following the death of a woman in Fortitude Valley.
It will be alleged just after 1pm police attended a Brunswick Street unit where they located a deceased woman and arrested a man who was also in the unit.
The 42-year-old Fortitude Valley man has been charged with one count of murder (DV offence) and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The deceased is a 66-year-old Western Australian woman who is related to the man.
