Police are investigating after a man was shot in Sydney’s south west tonight, NSW Police say.
About 6.40pm today, emergency services were called to a home in Riverwood.
Officers from Campsie Local Area Command attended and found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to a hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established, which will be forensically examined by specialist police.
Initial inquiries suggest this may be a targeted attack.
Anyone with information or any witnesses that haven’t spoken with police yet, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
